Schoolhouse Studios
It takes a huge amount of power every month to keep Schoolhouse Studios open. While it is amazing to support creatives and artists, we are beholden to working in a building that is ultimately not fit for purpose. Through the support of ACFA, we commit to making real and actionable changes to how our organisation consumes, and to be advocates for sustainability and climate in our communities.
- In the process of signing off on opening an account with Bank Australia and have put NAB on notice
- Committed to sharing ACFA Super resources with their tenants and staff
- Currently supplied by Momentum who are a strong renewable energy provider
- Have lobbied the City of Merri Bek to engage in a bulk green energy purchase for themselves and other businesses in their area
- Have worked with a biodigester onsite through one of the projects they hosted
- Through their relationship with tenants are interested in furthering regenerative practices around closed loop cycles in waste management and food security
