West Space is proud to join A Climate For Art, a grass-roots initiative leading the way for arts organisations to make big moves towards sustainability and accountability to the lands upon which we live and work, and have a responsibility to care for. We recognise the power in collective action and can’t wait to get started on this important work with our peers.
- Raised at board meeting and interested to make it a regular agenda item
- Built it into their operational plan
- Overgrown program – supported by City of Yarra’s Climate Justice Fund
- Meeting in November with other CY tenants to chat about lobbying landlord to shift energy provider
- Developed an Ethical Guide to their Funding and Sponsorships
- Will generate quarterly catch ups with ACFA
